What are tag clouds?
A tag cloud is a visual representation of a website’s contents. They are made up of keywords (or tags), which are listed alphabetically and vary in size according to their popularity on the site.
This means that tags found on a lot of pages of the site such as “policy” are shown larger than less common words such as “maternity”.
Every word is a hyperlink, and when you click on one you will be taken to a list of all the pages it is associated with. It works in a similar way to searching for the keyword in a search box, but is simpler because you can see all the tags at a glance, along with how popular they are on the site.
